Traditional Afternoon Tea in Dawlish Warren

Our traditional afternoon tea is £21.75 per person and includes:

One round of sandwiches per person. Choose from beef, chicken, ham, cheese, cheese and pickle, cheese and tomato, tuna mayonnaise or egg mayonnaise.

One homemade scone with clotted cream and jam.

Three bite-size pieces of cake or mini desserts.

Tea or coffee.

Prawn sandwiches are available for a £2 supplement per person, and smoked salmon sandwiches are available for an additional £3 per person.

Afternoon tea is served from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm on Sundays. We ask that you book in advance, ideally with 48 hours’ notice. Payment is taken at the time of booking.

 

Devonshire Cream Tea by the Sea

For a simpler traditional treat, our Devonshire Cream Tea is £9.75 per person. It includes a pot of tea or coffee, two homemade scones, and a generous portion of clotted cream and strawberry jam.

As we are in South Devon, we like to do things the Devonshire way: spread the cream on the scone first, then add the jam on top. Cream teas for smaller parties do not normally need to be pre-ordered, although letting us know your plans is always helpful.
