Live Entertainment – May Bank Holiday Weekend at Langstone Cliff Hotel - 80th Anniversary Celebration
Friday 30th April – Monday 3rd May 2027
Since welcoming our first guests in 1947 there have been many changes from a 12 bedroom hotel to the 64 ensuite bedrooms we have now. The full history can be found in our 50th and 60th anniversary brochures.
Since 2007 we have built the very popular Orchid Room, restored our greenhouse to it’s former glory and hosted a continuously rolling programme of renewing the furnishings, decor and updating bathrooms and bedrooms.
The hotel is still owned and managed by the Rogers family – generations two and three – and, believe it or not, still visited by some of the guests whom we hosted over fifty years ago. It is particularly gratifying that over 80% of our guests pay us return visits.
And this incredible loyalty is not just confined to our guests. We are proud to say that the vast majority of our staff also acquire the “Langstone Habit” and combine with the “Family” to offer a friendly attentive and very sincere welcome.

CARNABY STREET have been wowing crowds up and down the UK’s gig scene for nigh on 26 years now…..and for anyone who’s been to one of their shows , it’s not difficult to see why!
The hugely popular ‘Swingin’ Sixties Tribute Band’ have the sort of enthusiastic, infectious energy you don’t see with many bands these days. It’s as if every gig is their first! Led by the dulcet tones of
charismatic frontman Dez, their repertoire ranges from classic songs from the early 60’s ‘British Invasion’ era, through to the deliriously groovy ‘Flower Power’ hits from later in the decade.
Firm favourites here at the Langstone, this five piece Exeter based band presents a very lively set of sixties based music, very danceable and authentic sounding – you will know every number they play.

More About Our Weekend...
The weekend starts with pre-dinner reception drinks*, a three-course dinner, plus coffee on Friday evening followed by live music and dancing.
Much later, you may retire to your room for a good night’s rest before waking ready for your full Langstone Breakfast in the Lincoln Restaurant.
After breakfast why not take a stroll along the beach or take a trip to visit one of the many local attractions prior to your Langstone buffet lunch, a selection of hot dishes with salad and a variety of desserts, why choose only one? Please feel free to take this out onto the lawn if you wish.
If you have any room, a cream tea is available in the afternoon, included within the weekend package.
Saturday evening commences with inclusive pre-dinner drinks and a first-class dinner followed by Under The Boardwalk, sit back and watch or put your dancing shoes on and show us your moves, whichever you choose, and have fun.
On Sunday you can once again eat until it is time to loosen your waistband, a full Langstone breakfast, hot and cold buffet lunch and cream tea are all included in the weekend package.
When evening falls put on your suit and party dress and join us for pre-dinner drinks, a three-course dinner with coffee and cabaret Twist and Shout providing this evening’s party entertainment.

*Pre-dinner drinks include soft and alcoholic beverages. Cocktails, double measures, and bottles of wine are excluded.
