Deposits

For bookings of 20 rooms or less a deposit of £1000.00 is required 6 months prior to arrival.

For bookings of 21 – 40 rooms a deposit of £1500.00 is required 6 months prior to arrival

For bookings of more than 40 rooms a deposit of £2000.00 is required 6 months prior to arrival.

Full Group Cancellation by you

Notification of cancellation 181 days or more prior to arrival – No charge

Notification of cancellation 32 -180 days prior to arrival – the deposit will be retained

Notification of cancellation 14 – 31 days prior to arrival – 50% of the total cost will be charged

Notification of cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival – 100% of the total cost will be charged

Individual room Cancellations by you

Notification of cancellation 32 – 90 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee of £25.00 per person will apply.

Notification of cancellation 14 – 31 days prior to arrival – 50% of the total cost of the room will be charged

Notification cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival – 100% of the total cost of the room will be charged

Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.

Cancellation by Langstone Cliff Hotel Ltd

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if your deposit has not been received by the agreed date.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation due to circumstances beyond our control, no cancellation fee will apply.

Allocation

Specific room types are not guaranteed unless stated on your confirmation.

An initial rooming list is required a minimum of 3 months prior to your arrival, your allocation will then be reviewed and may be amended.

A final rooming list is required 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

Unallocated rooms will be automatically released 6 weeks prior to your arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

Payment and Pricing

Terms agreed are based on a minimum of 20 paying adults, if numbers reduce below 20 guests, we reserve the right to amend the terms of your booking.

You will receive one free place for every twenty paying adults, i.e 21st, 42nd, 63rd place etc.

Coach Drivers stay free (both meals & accommodation) with a bonafide coach company and a minimum of 19 paying passengers

Full payment is required 31 days prior to arrival.

Dining

The Room and Breakfast rate is inclusive of a full English Breakfast each morning.

The Dinner, Room and Breakfast rate is inclusive of a three-course Dinner with coffee each evening and a full English Breakfast each morning.

Allergies and dietary requirements will be catered for to the best of our ability, please inform us of requests as soon as possible.

Reception Drinks are included with the Dinner, Room and Breakfast tariff unless otherwise confirmed – 1 per person served before Dinner – a glass of wine, beer, sherry or orange juice

Guests are not permitted to consume food and drink that has not been purchased on the premises.

Expectations of you and your group

You must not:

• be threatening or abusive to any of our team before, during or after your stay;
• smoke anywhere inside any Langstone Cliff Hotel premises. This includes the smoking of e-cigarettes. Permitted smoking areas will be identified on site. Smoking on Langstone Cliff Hotel premises outside of the designated smoking area will result in a £100 fine;
• engage in any unlawful activity during your stay at a Langstone Cliff Hotel premises (e.g. taking an illegal substance);
• cause any health and safety hazard to any of our team members or any of our guests;
• bring any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials or equipment onto Langstone Cliff Hotel premises;
• use any electrical appliances that may overload the electrical system, cause a health and safety hazard and/or set off the fire alarm system, such as toaster, mini cookers or portable grills;
• tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment;
• utilise Langstone Cliff Hotel rooms to store items (personal or otherwise) which could in the sole opinion of Langstone Cliff Hotel cause damage to the room, or be a risk to the health and safety of staff or property;
• prevent Langstone Cliff Hotel management, housekeeping and/or maintenance staff from access to your Langstone Cliff Hotel room(s) as and when required by Langstone Cliff Hotel, with housekeeping permitted full access at least once every two days;
• remove, damage or destroy any Langstone Cliff Hotel property;
• use extensions leads when charging items with lithium-ion batteries;
• stay in any Langstone Cliff Hotel property for longer than your booking permits;
• use any of the technology provided by Langstone Cliff Hotel to download or access any unlawful or obscene material; or cause unreasonable disturbance to our other guests or any Langstone Cliff Hotel staff.

If you or your group cause damage or loss of any kind to the hotel, other guests or their property, you (as the person making the booking) will be responsible for that damage or loss and you shall be liable to pay to Langstone Cliff Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage or loss. For the avoidance of doubt, if Langstone Cliff Hotel requests that you or any member of your group are to leave the hotel following a breach of these terms and conditions, you will also be liable to pay Langstone Cliff Hotel on demand all costs associated with such removal.

If you or your group cause damage to the hotel, other guests or their property, or otherwise breach any of these terms and conditions, Langstone Cliff Hotel reserves the right to:

• cancel your reservation with immediate effect and (if appropriate) eject you from Langstone Cliff Hotel premises;
• cancel key cards;
• restrict access to the hotel;
• remove your items from the room and hotel, disposing of such items (at no cost and no liability) to a local charity to the extent such items are not collected from us within 7 days of removal;
• retain all sums paid by you and/or charge you the full amount of your reservation; and/or
• refuse future reservations from you and/or refuse you entry or accommodation at our hotel.

Langstone Cliff Hotel will not be liable for any refund or compensation in such circumstances.

Langstone Cliff Hotel reserves the right to decline or cancel reservations made and stays in progress by those who have previously breached these terms and conditions (as may be updated from time to time), whether the reservation is in that name or not.

We don’t knowingly allow anyone to use or visit our hotel who is a convicted sex offender or subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or subject to a Sexual Risk Order or Child Abduction Notice.  If you do not disclose this information to us and it later becomes known, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and require that you and the other members of your party leave our hotels, without refund.

You will occupy a Langstone Cliff Hotel room as a licensee only for the allocated time in your booking only. You will be liable to Langstone Cliff Hotel for any costs incurred from any legal proceedings arising from a breach of these terms, including but not limited to costs incurred removing you and/or your items. If you remain in occupation of a Langstone Cliff Hotel room beyond your booking, Langstone Cliff Hotel reserves the right to cease providing the services and you agree that a possession order may be made against you.
