Coronavirus – Updated Statement – 23rd May 2020
Due to the ongoing CoronaVirus situation we at the Langstone Cliff Hotel have have now been instructed to
Temporarily close our hotel from
Monday 23rd March at 12.00 pm until the 4th July 2020.
Followowing the governments recent announcement extending social distancing measures the Langstone Cliff Hotel will now remain closed until Thusrsday 1st July 2020, any guests who have bookings in the period from the 7th May until 1st July will be contacted over the next few days regarding their bookings.
Should we need to extend our closure dates further we will of course be in touch as soon as possible and will refund any deposits or advance payments. Please bear in mind we are operating with a very restricted team at present and this may take longer than is usual or we would wish.
The decision to close has been taken to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, guests and local community. We do not wish to put any additional strain on our own staff or increase the likelihood of the spread of Coronavirus in our community, further putting strain on our NHS and supporting services.
Should you wish to amend or cancel any bookings after the 1st July and before the 1st August 2020 you may do so without penalty.
These dates are regularly reviewed and amended as the situation develops and following Government advice.
Should you wish to amend or cancel any bookings following the 2nd August 2020 please bear in mind the current fluidity of the situation. We would prefer you to delay any decision to move or amend your booking as long as is practical.
We are hoping to reopen as soon as we are informed that it is safe and prudent to do so.
Thank you very much for your understanding in this very difficult time.
