Celebrate Easter with a Break in South Devon
We were all taught at school (well some of us were) that the March Equinox was the first day of Spring, but to most of us the first days of Spring are surely the Easter Holiday. A great time of the year. Everything looking spruced up and ready to go, Spring flowers showing their colours and two bank holidays to make a worthwhile Easter weekend break.
Easter is a popular family holiday time at the Langstone Cliff Hotel. We present a full programme for your entertainment and offer something for each of the family.
Easter Special Weekend 2016
Friday 25th March- Monday 28th March 2016
A very Early easter this year and of course we cannot accurately forecast the weather (neither can the Met Office for that matter!) but the spring sun shine will bring us longer days, the trees and shrubs are beginning to show their colours, Spring flowers are abundant and the world does seem to be waking from its Winter slumbers, and here we are waiting with open arms to welcome you – so please do not disappoint us!
Good Friday 25th March
Good Friday 3rd April
7.00 – 9.00pm Dinner
Dinner and Disco with Chris Snow.
Easter Saturday 26th March
Dinner 7.00 – 9.00pm
We present a Dinner and Dance with The Covers Brothers
A classic four piece line up, the Covers Brothers play a range of music from the 50s to the present. Think Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Everly Brothers through to the 60s—The Searchers, The Kinks, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, The Who and you will be on the right wave length. Good to listen to, even better to dance to, The Short Circuit Disco ensures we have music right though the evening.
Easter Sunday 27th March
There is the traditional Easter Egg Hunt for all the children immediately after breakfast at 10.00am – and it does not take very long!
12.30pm Easter Sunday Lunch £18.50 (not included in the Easter Residential Package)
But of course bookable as an additional treat!
3.00pm Merlin entertains the children
7.00pm Pre-Dinner Reception in the Washington Bar when the scene will be set, so please be on time.
7.30pm Dinner in the Washington Ballroom during which The Moonstone Theatre company are back by popular demand with a Murder Mystery – “Malice in Wonderland”, the plot unravels itself, a crime is committed and well…by the time you get to coffee all is revealed. Very light hearted, very un-intrusive, but fun.
Followed by Back to Back—a pop duo with music from the Sixties right up to date to finish the evening.
