Can’t manage the Christmas Holiday itself or indeed the New Year’s Package? But maybe you would like a little break over the festive period – then the Twixtmas” Break is just for you, between 27th and 30th December.

Thursday the 27th December 2012

• 7.30 – 10.00 Full English Breakfast
  Nothing scheduled for this morning so why not  just take a relaxing morning stroll down to the beach at Dawlish Warren.
• 1.00 – 2.00 Carvery Lunch in the Lincoln Restaurant
• 3.00 Alan Austin – Children’s Magic Show and Spectacularly lit Disco
• 4.30 Tea and Cakes
• 7.00 Reception in the Washington Bar and meet our “special guests”.
• 7.30 – 9.00 Dinner with Murder Mystery in the Washington Ballroom. 

The Candlelight Theatre present this evening’s Murder Mystery. They are a fully professional team of actors and actresses established in Torquay, the birthplace of Agatha Christie in 1890.

The action starts over pre-dinner drinks and concludes over coffee. Guests are encouraged to join in, although no one is given a particular role or character. If you prefer to sit back, relax and let the actors do the work that will be just fine. Either way we are sure you will find it is fun and enjoyable (and not terribly taxing!)

Friday 28th December 2012

• A do as you please day today. A walk on the beach perhaps?
  A visit to Exeter, Devon’s historic county town with plenty to do and see, and of course excellent shopping. John Lewis opened in Exeter in ealier this year, although it is not the giant store you would find in London’s Oxford Street, it is none-the-less the largest store in the City, and certainly enhances the shopping experience.
  
  Remember too that guests have concessionary rates for Golf at the Warren Golf Club – just 800 yards from the hotel. Just £15.00 per person for the 18 hole course – bargain! Speak to Reception for details.

• Again no organized programme today until this evening when the magic of “live” pantomime unfolds in the Washington Ballroom.
• 1.00 – 2.00 Hot and Cold Buffet Lunch
• 4.30 – 5.30 Afternoon Tea and Cakes
• 6.30 – 8.30 Dinner – note the early start to enable you to enjoy dinner but not miss a second of the fabulous panto

 we bring you a full blown professional pantomime right here in the Washington Ballroom, no tickets to buy, no car to park, you don’t even have to put your coat on – just come and enjoy.  Wonder productions bring you Dick Whittington and His Cat. A full two hour traditional show with plenty of audience participation for guests of all ages.

• Additional children under 10 years are charged at quarter tariff.
•  Children 10 – 16 years of age, sharing as above are charged at half tariff.
• Single parent families or one adult travelling with children please ask for special tariff.
• Where three or four adults share family accommodation they will each be charged at 85% of the tariff.
