What do we mean by a “Langstone Christmas Special?”
Let us run through the evening. Arrive at the hotel, there is ample free parking for cars or coaches, the regular bus service stops at the top of the hotel drive, trains are available to Dawlish or Dawlish Warren.
The bars are open whenever you are ready to start your party!
Dinner is served from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. There is music for listening or
dancing from 8.00pm through till about 10.00pm when we present the star cabaret
of the evening (some evenings feature a band).
Most acts perform for an hour or so, some of them present the show in two halves – anything up to a total of two hours. The disco winds up the party with dancing till late.
Many companies and organisations use the Langstone Christmas Specials for their staff Christmas party but they can also be used for, retirement parties, birthdays and anniversaries, re-unions or any other sort of party. Groups of any size can book from 2 to 200 or of course we can arrange similar events exclusively for a company or organization.
All the Christmas Specials offer interesting menus with at least four
choices at each course – obviously the traditional fare appears on all menus as
do vegetarian, fish and meat dishes to ensure a good selection whichever event
you choose. There is no need to pre select.
Good quality party hats, crackers, poppers, streamers and definitely the “party
essential” rocket balloons all contribute to the fun at all the Christmas
Specials. The entertainment varies from event to event and this accounts for
the varying ticket prices.
Of course you can turn the evening into a mini holiday and stay the night,
enjoy a full English breakfast at a specially discounted rate please ask for
details. You could even stay for lunch!

Saturday 21st December 2013 – Martyn Lucas stars in his spectacular ‘Viva Las Vegas Christmas Show’
Featuring Music and showmanship that we all
associate with the world’s entertainment capital. Martyn presents songs from
Tom Jones, Franks Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Michael
Jackson and so on and so on. He is accompanied by the big-band swing sound of
musicians from the British Philharmonic Orchestra who regularly back the world
famous acts that visit these shores – and now here they are at the Langstone
Cliff Hotel with Martyn Lucas! High-Class seasonal Cabaret and a lively disco
