The Langstone Cliff Hotel is in an envious position regards golf. Just 800 metres from the hotel is the Warren Golf Club, founded in 1892, and located in a renowned wildlife conservation area on a promontory between the sea and the Exe Estuary.

It is one of the very few true links courses on the South Coast and the only one in South Devon. 5965 Yards, Par 69, off white tees, it is a challenging course with narrow fairways and plenty of gorse and heather.

Guests of the Langstone Cliff Hotel are welcome to play this challenging course with it's magnificent views and will receive a discount off the standard green fees. Please ask at reception for your discount card. A handicap certificate is required.

New for 2009 the Langstone Cliff Hotel has now taken corporate membership at the Warren Golf Club which entitles the hotel to one four ball each day of the year, completely FREE of charge! The “free golf” is subject to availability at the course and has to be on a first-come first-served basis

The Resident PGA pro at the Warren Golf Club is Darren Prowse who commenced his career at Bigbury Golf Club, he then moved to Thurlestone Golf Club near Kingsbridge, where he spent nine years and qualified as a PGA professional specialising in junior lessons. Darren has been resident PGA professional at the Warren since September 1999.

Lessons are available from Darren on the Hotel's own practise area or on the course, he can be contacted on (01626) 864002. Equipment is not essential.

Darren has a fully stocked pro shop on the course with all the leading brands including Mizuno,Titleist, Cobra, Callaway, Wilson, Nike and many more.
