ACCOMMODATION
There are in total 64 bedrooms available in the hotel: 6 family suites consisting of 2 bedrooms off a small lobby and a bathroom 11 poolside rooms (ten with balconies) which may accommodate families 7 family rooms with balcony 17 family rooms without balcony 22 double rooms 1 single room (we also let other rooms for single Occupancy). Ten of these rooms are located on the ground floor and of these three have walk in showers. Many have sea views and or air conditioning. ACCOUNTS
Accounts are available the evening prior to departure up to 10.00pm, or on the morning of departure. Delta, Switch Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Visa are preferred. American Express and Diners Club are also accepted.

ARRIVAL TIMES
Rooms cannot be guaranteed ready until 3.00pm, however guests are welcome to arrive at any time and rooms will be made available as soon as possible.

ATTRACTIONS.
The south west is extremely fortunate in as much as there are so many things to do and see in the locality. As well as the many attractions which the hotel has to offer there are many, many attractions just a short walk, drive, bus or train ride away. We have a dedicated display area within the hotel for many of the local attractions and are always happy to pass on any experiences which guests have relayed to us.

BABY FOODS.
There is a range of strained and junior foods and Rusks always available. We do not provide any powered milks, but are pleased to heat or boil fresh milk for baby bottles. Milk and boiling water are always available from the dining room or Lincoln bar. We are happy to heat or refrigerate guests' own baby foods. We have a few portable refrigerators which we can loan to you for storage of baby foods or medicines for the duration of your stay

BABY LISTENING
Baby Listening is available in all bedrooms. Reception is normally manned from 7.30am to 11pm for baby listening purposes. We now offer the Bebetel system which connects to the hotel telephones and can either dial a parents mobile phone directly if the child cries or can call the hotel reception from where parents will be sought.

BAGGAGE.
We do not pretend that the hotel offers a deluxe porter service, but on the other hand there is always porterage available upon request to Reception. Large items of baggage may be stored, again upon request to Reception.

BANKS.
Lloyds, and National Westminster - have branches in Dawlish, two miles away and both have cashpoints the local Sainsbury's approximately half a mile away also has a 24 hour cash point. Gerald's at Dawlish Warren and Marina Post office have internal Link Machines available during opening hours.

BAR SNACKS, LIGHT LUNCHES, COFFEE
A host of snacky things are all available from the Lincoln Bar and delivered to wherever you prefer. Currently the menu includes a variety of dishes including: Chicken Tikka, Chilli Con Carne Pizzas and Pasta Dishes including Lasagne and Spaghetti Traditional style pub grub - Cottage Pie, Steak and Kidney Pudding, Sausage and Mash with Onion Gravy Deep Fried Scampi, Steamed Salmon Steaks Grilled Gammon and Beef Steak, and Burgers. A huge range of Sandwiches, Baguettes, Provencettes and Jacket Potatoes. A selection of Childrens Meals. Side Dishes and Salads A variety of Teas and Coffees with Pastries and Cakes and of course Devonshire Cream Teas with the Jam on top in traditional Devon fashion!! BARS
We like to think that our bars are friendly, comfortable places serving the drinks that you want, at sensible prices. Each bar offers a choice of three draught lagers, three draught bitters (including a real ale) stout and a cider as well as a comprehensive selection of wines, spirits and liqueurs. As well as an extensive range of soft drinks, Teas and Coffees. In addition the Lincoln bar has a San Remo espresso machine and we offer a choice of Douwe Eggbert coffees including, Espresso, Latte, Americano, Cappucino, Moccachino and hot chocolate.


BIRDWATCHING
We regularly play host to groups of bird watchers from all parts of the UK. Dawlish Warren National Nature Reserve is an area of grassland, sand dunes, mudflats and centres on a 1½ mile long sandspit/beach across the mouth of the Exe Estuary and is located just a few hundred metres from the Langstone Cliff Hotel As part of the Exe Estuary it is one of the most important places for wildfowl and wading birds in the whole of the South West. Thousands of birds come to feed, on migration, or to spend the winter here. The Warren is so important that it is protected for its wildlife by both national and international law. BOWLS
There are 2 bowling greens in Dawlish. The first is located approximately half a mile from the hotel at the Marina bowling club where there is also an indoor rink. T he second is located right in the heart of Dawlish at the end of the lawn. BROADBAND
The hotel has Free Wi-Fi broadband access to the internet via our network of Freespot Wi-Fi Access points most of these support 802.11bgn. Currently (Spring 2013) the Hotel has 4 x ADSL broadband connections. Fibre is due the local exchange at sometime in 2013.

BROCHURES
We are now producing so many brochures, we are not sure if we are running a Hotel or a library! CABARET
We offer cabaret on selected evenings throughout the year. Always we present professional acts of a high standard and for our Langstone Specials we seek acts of truly international standing, many of whom are household names. (See Special Weekends). CAR PARKING
There is no charge for open parking – please park where you will. Management are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles parked in the hotel grounds. There is parking for over 200 cars plus space for coaches.

CELEBRATIONS
Anniversary’s, birthdays, weddings, christenings, retirement, just plain “pleased to see you”. We can help with the cakes, flowers, chocolates, champagne, balloons – just let us know your requirements.

CHECK-IN
Guests may arrive and use the hotel facilities at any time on their day of arrival but please be aware that rooms may not be available before 3.00pm.

CHECK-OUT
We would kindly request that guests vacate their rooms by 11.00am on the day of departure. Should you wish to retain your room after this time please contact reception.

CHEMIST
There is a dispensing chemist located in Dawlish Warren located approximately 150 metres from the Warren Surgery opposite Gerald's supermarket. There are 3 dispensing chemists in Dawlish approximately 2 Miles away and 1 located in Starcross approximately 2 miles in the other direction. The hotel carries a small range of toiletries at reception.

CHILDREN
Children are very welcome! Children are fun, nasty, dirty, disobedient and good business, children are very, very welcome!


CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINMENT
There is children's entertainment most evenings around (8.00pm) during school holiday periods (and sometimes during the day). The entertainment is designed for all ages from toddlers to the ten to twelve group. CHILDRENS SUPPER
This is available from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. There are always cereals, biscuits, fruit, bread and butter, milk or orange squash, plus a choice of hot snacks which varies daily, e.g. fish fingers, burgers, chips, baked beans, sausages, pasta, etc., and some dishes from the dinner menu of the day. The 'dinner' or 'supper' decision is left entirely to parents. Supper is, of course, inclusive to children on half board terms, but charged as extra for guests on room and breakfast tariff. Please place your order at the Lincoln bar by 5pm each day.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR

COMPLAINTS
In the best organised establishments things do go wrong occasionally. Should you have any problem - large or small - please contact one of the family or Reception immediately. The most difficult problems to deal with are the ones we have no knowledge of.

The Langstone Cliff is particularly well equipped for the presentation of conferences, meetings, seminars, training courses and all manner of business needs.
